Other DNA Tests
Although American Paternity Center specializes in DNA Paternity Testing, we also offer the following DNA tests. For more information about special DNA tests, including fee information, please call us at 1-800-281-2906.
Maternity Testing
Maternity testing is often used to confirm the biological relationship between a prospective mother and child who have been separated by circumstances such as adoption. Often, adoption records have been sealed and only a DNA maternity test will give definitive answers to such questions.
Grandparentage Testing
If the alleged father is unavailable for testing, we can test the grandparents (parents of the alleged father) together with the child to determine if they have a biological relationship.
Siblingship Test
A siblingship test can be performed to determine whether two or more persons are full or half brothers/sisters. Often, this is used to confirm biological relationships among adoptees and siblings; it is also used to infer paternity in cases where the alleged father is unavailable for testing. In a siblingship test, two children and their known parents are tested.
Twin Zygosity Testing
Twin zygosity tests determine if twins are fraternal or identical. Often times, relying on physical appearance alone is not enough. We can help you to finally obtain that knowledge using our affordable twin zygosity test. Only the two children are required to participate in this test.
Genetic Reconstruction Test
Genetic reconstruction, also known as family relationship testing, can be performed to determine if a child is biologically related to the family of a missing or deceased alleged father. Our laboratory is one of only a few that can perform the genetic reconstruction test.
